Today is Mother's Day so, of course, my thoughts are of all the mothers out there. Though it is possibly the most important job any of us will ever do, it is also one of the hardest. There are no instructions, rule books, feedback panels or anything else to tell us how we are doing. We just have to do the best we can with what we have. So for those mothers out there, know that what you do is important. And it is appreciated (sometimes much later, but nonetheless). Celebrate this day honoring mothers and take a moment to not only appreciate your own mother, but to celebrate the job you do every day. For truly, the mothering of your children shapes the generation to come.
Happy Mother's Day!
