Friday Favorites - Bottle Brush Trees

I have fallen in love with bottle brush trees. I know they've been around for awhile now, but I feel like this year they have exploded! And yes, I know that they've actually been around for longer than "awhile" - the vintage ones anyway. But the reproductions are a more recent thing and they seem to be everywhere now. I've seen them at TJ Maxx and Home Goods, as well as my local antique stores and some boutiques.

They are such a sweet version of Christmas.....

I just bought a very similar version that sits inside of a vintage silver sugar bowl - love!

A couple of years ago Anthropologie had snow globes made out of Mason jars (repros of those are all over now too) and I thought they would make a great gift for my daughter's friends. However, they were kind of pricey so we went to the dollar store and bought all the ingredients and made our own - they came out so cute! The trees are especially charming under glass cloches or in a snow globe....

These are almost exactly what my daughter and I made!

And how cute is this wreath using bottle brush trees!

The reproductions are colored in either true classic Christmas colors, brights reds and greens, or creams and whites. I absolutely adore the pale colors! I bought a few this year and did a display of them, and I just love it. I love them grouped together en masse!

This is just a little sneak peek of my Christmas decor for the Blogger Holiday Home Tour I'm participating in next week. I will be featured on Wednesday - hope you will stop by!

Have a nice weekend!
