The Met Gala, the annual "Oscars of Fashion". This annual event is huge. Formerly the Costume Institute Gala and also known as the Met Ball, the event is an annual fundraiser for the Metropolitan Museum of Arts Costume Institute in New York City. This night is a true star-studded event and is considered to be one of, if not the, most exclusive social event of the year in New York. It is the fashion industry's premiere red carpet event, their "Oscars." This is one night where the out-there, wild, and plain jaw-dropping are not only acceptable, they are encouraged. There were some very out-there dresses this year, however, I went with those who were a little more classic, while still being interesting. Here are the women I thought were the five best dressed for 2015....
Diane Kruger in Chanel - I just loved this! It's pants but still dramatic, and she pulls it off
Amal Clooney in Maison Margiela - loved the red color, it looked great on her and in the close up photos, the dress is a stunner
Charlize Theron in Dior - she always looks great, but this is one of her best
Uma Thurman in Versace - she looks beautiful in the white, very Grecian and I love that she did a green earring
Emily Blunt in Prada - perfection! Loved the blue color and that cape!
Personally I thought Emily Blunt was the best of the night, hands down.
